Open House August 14
Rex’s K9 Sports Arena will be hosting an Open House for the public on Sunday, August 14, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 2114 Ashland Avenue, Evanston. The instructors will be available to answer questions and will demonstrate Master Class Agility with their own dogs on a mini agility course. Guests are welcome to bring their leashed dogs along.
Kathy Lichtenstein, owner of Rex’s Place, is thrilled to make this opportunity available: “When I first opened Rex’s Place twelve years ago, I opened the day care as a safe, happy alternative to staying home for dogs. As a dog owner and as a business owner, I’ve seen time and again how much better life is for us and our dogs when they’re active and able to use their talents to the fullest. Rex’s K9 Sports Arena will provide so much more enrichment, not just for the dogs, but for their humans too. Agility and obedience aren’t just for one type of dog — every dog benefits from more engagement at every stage of life, and every level of ability. And every human benefits from happier, healthier dogs.”
“The other thing is, it gets people moving!” she continued. “They don’t just connect more with their dogs — they get their exercise and their adrenaline boost!”
Classes currently running at Rex’s K9 Sports Arena are filled and closed. The full class schedule will be announced on August 11 for classes beginning the week of August 16 and posted on the website.
