Tired of being dragged? small white dog dragging man on leash at high speed

90 Minutes to Better Leash Behavior

If you’re tired of being literally yanked around, then join us for a 90-minute seminar on Loose Leash Walking!
Active participants AND auditors are welcome! Trainer Hope Saidel will be presenting and guiding participants on one of the most fundamental — and for many dog people, elusive — aspects of life with dogs.

WHEN: Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 9 to 10:30 AM
WHERE: Rex’s Place, 2120 Ashland Ave, Evanston, in the Training Room
WHO: 6 working participants and 3 auditors are welcome
WHAT TO BRING: Participants will need:

  • a flat collar, gentle lead, or harness — NO choke collars, prong collars, or e-collars
  • a 6-foot leash — NO retractable leashes
  • high value treats (dogs should skip breakfast that morning)
  • Lots of high value treats (when you think you have enough, bring about 8 times as much)
